On Wednesday, August 28th, Chef Matt Bolus of The 404 Kitchen will welcome celebrated musician and small-batch organic winemaker Dave Mustaine for an exclusive summer supper. Using the area’s best fresh ingredients, Bolus and his culinary team will prepare 4-delectable courses, each expertly paired with a House of Mustaine small batch wine that will enhance the flavors to create a truly unique and memorable dining experience. Both Bolus and Mustaine will be in attendance to discuss the intricacies of the food and wines - and the inspiration behind each course.

Hors d’Oeuvres 

Scallop Toast Crostini - Avocado, Preserved Orange Zest, Crispy Banana, Microgreens

Goat Cheese Crostini - Strawberries, Green Peppercorn

Beef Tartare Crostini - Toast Points, Black Garlic Aioli, Onion, Cinnamon, Parsley 

Paired with House of Mustaine She-Wolf, Tempranillo Rose

First Course

Summer Salad - Gulf Shrimp, Spring Mix, Kale, Citrus, Feta, Seed Brittle, Charcoal Vinaigrette

Paired with House of Mustaine Elysian Fields, Verdicchio 

Second Course

Duck Confit - Collards, Blackberry Sauce

Paired with House of Mustaine Holy Wars, Montepulciano

Third Course

72 Hour Tri-Tip - Grilled Aleppo Summer Squash, Pecans, Dried Black Cherries, Red Wine Jus

Paired with House of Mustaine Almost Honest, Cabernet Sauvignon

Fourth Course

Berries n’ Cream - Mascarpone, Chantilly Cream, Fresh Berries, Shortbread Cookies
